My sister is visiting this weekend. We had these grand plans to go to Luxembourg for a day, then visit Trier the next day... Not happening. It's been a very lazy, relaxing weekend.
Complete with sewing!!!
DSis decided she'd like some new pants. So I measured her, fed the numbers into PMB, and printed out a pants sloper. It turned out pretty good. It fits really well in the back:
The side picture tipped me off that the front rise was a bit too long:
So I fixed it. It'll be a small wedge adjustment to take out the extra length at CF, tapering to nothing at the side seam.
Before the wedge at left and with the wedge pinned at right:
I still have to move the front darts out to the side a bit because her flat belly doesn't need them where they are now.
I'm very excited that I'll get to sew for her. It should be a lot of fun, mostly because her style is completely different from mine - she feels funny in what she calls "lady-like" clothes and prefers more sporty-looking things. So it will be a nice departure from my usual lineup of sheaths.

I love seeing posts on fit :) !
woohoo! Between you and Turbopip on SG, maybe I've started a trend - sister sewing!
My sister will be delighted to hear it.
Be careful, it's a slippery slope...
You fit looks great.
Alexandra .- yes, fun and rewarding at the same time think of others. These pants for her sister have very good point, really. His sister will be happy with their work. I look forward to seeing the end result. Thanks. Best wishes. Paco
Ooh, how neat! I agree with your sister on "lady-like" clothes, sporty clothes are definitely comfy.
What a fun weekend :)
