Project #4 - red sheath dress - part 3
My husband played the reluctant photographer this evening. Excuse the lack of make-up and hosiery. I'm thinking the next dress should cover the knee. Or am I just being overly self-critical?

Very lovely dress, and it looks great on you!
As for the length, it's a bit difficult to judge because the pictures are shot at a high angle. I've found through trial and error that the best way to judge was to take a picture straight on - neither low angle, nor high angle (I don't even know the proper word in French... not to mention in English). That is the best way you'll see the proportions of a garment on you, and I feel it is more efficient than looking at oneself in a mirror.
The dress is very pretty on you! The scarf adds great interest...and I like it knee-length!
The length on this is cute, and you are young enough to get away with it, however, looking at what was on the runways for Spring, and what is showing right now in NYC, I'd go longer. There is nothing that dates a dress more than a small detail gone wrong. I'm thinking that you'll get more wear if you go longer.
Just MHO
