Time warp

The last month just flew by. Pesky school gets in the way of life and then I get little sewing or knitting done. The two pairs of pants for my fall capsule are almost finished - they just need a few rows of catchstitching to hold the hem up. The third pair from the same pattern, the one that I rescued from the UFO pile, is currently my favorite. I can hardly wait to find a little time to hem the other two pairs.

On the needles is a lovely feather&fan scarf in a blend of fine alpaca, merino, and silk. Just lovely, but now only a memory because I forgot to pack it when I left for Missouri last weekend. I am still in Missouri and depending on how fast I can get a new passport, I may be here a while.

Why is it that when you look back, it seems the time just flew by, but when you're looking ahead, it seems like it's crawling? Time warp, I'm telling you.
