Not much action lately

School started this Monday - lots of reading that doesn't leave much time for other things. Still, I have managed to get started on the two pairs of pants. One still needs to have the waistband put on and both need to be hemmed. I have also (almost) finished a UFO from last year - black tropical wool, same pants pattern. I think back then they were a bit snug. If that's not it, then I have no idea why they ended up in the UFO pile, all they needed was hemming. I needed a pair of pants to wear to the Red Cross orientation yesterday, so Thursday late at night, I quickly hemmed them with Stitch Witchery. I will go back and do some catchstitching later today.

I have been knitting some, too. I started the Pinwheel Sweater, a free pattern from elann.com. I finished the circle and blocked it out. But when I put it on, I was reminded why I don't even like jackets with rounded front bottom edge, let alone this kind of flyaway style. It just doesn't look good on me because it completely obliterates my waist definition. So back to the drawing board. Or rather, to the eye candy at White Lies Designs. I really need to stick with the silhouettes that work well for me so maybe
I'll order a yarn pack for the Bella or Milinda.
