The green sweater is finished. It was a piece of work. This was my first time dyeing - good old Rit dye in the kitchen sink. The package said "one package will dye 1lb of fabric a light to medium color". And exactly what is a light to medium shade of dark green? I got to find out this afternoon - result at left.
The sweater turned out great - better than I'd hoped. Looks like all this practice is finally paying off.
I have a light gray Euroflax linen on the needles, this will become a feather-and-fan stole. Linen is a pain to knit with - feels and acts like twine. I can hardly wait to wash it so it softens up some.
